Meet Our Instructor
Elizabeth Stek, P.E., LEED AP
Elizabeth is a Professional Engineer with licenses in Michigan and California and is certified by the U.S. Green Build Councile in sustainable design. She has 13 years of experience as a structural engineer working on a wide variety of projects. During the pandemic, she took a break from engineering and fell in love with teaching. Prior to joining KCTC's engineering program, she taught mathematics at GRCC. She loves to watch students explore engineering concepts with hands-on, project-based learning and believes that sometimes the best way to understand something is to break it and the best way to learn something is to fail.
